Meet the Team
Our Front Office
Helen, our Team Leader, has been with the practice for 18 years. She started in dentistry assisting chairside and is now in the front office where she somehow manages team member and patient schedules, phone calls, emails, HR, IT, payroll, and the list continues! She also goes above and beyond helping patients understand and make the best of their insurance benefits if needed. Helen lives in Crestwood with her husband, they have 2 children, and one adorable grandson!
Joan joined Oak Forest Family Dental this year as our new Treatment Coordinator. She has over 25 years in customer service and management experience. Helping patients is her number one priority! Whether it’s scheduling appointments or reviewing your treatment plan or any insurance questions, she is happy to assist you. She is looking forward to meeting you and seeing all your smiling faces.
Our Dental Hygienists
Lea is a graduate of Kennedy-King Dental Hygiene Program at UIC College of Dentistry. She has over 20 years of experience as a hygienist and also prior years as a dental assistant. She especially loves helping people with previous negative memories of dental treatment feel comfortable and happy during their appointments. Lea is a mom of two daughters and enjoys working with children of all ages. We are fortunate to have such a skilled and gentle hygienist.
Amanda joined Oak Forest Family Dental last year bringing 20 years of dental experience to the team! Our Dental Assistants
Noor joined our practice 3 years ago as a dental assistant. She went on to earn her dental hygiene degree at Prairie State College, and we are so happy she is now back with us serving our patients again! She is compassionate, energetic, and listens to each patient's specific concerns to help you achieve your oral health goals. She loves making you feel right at home as a guest in our practice. Noor lives in Oak Lawn with her husband. In her free time, she likes to read, go for long walks, and travel.
Donna remembers the exact day she decided to be a Dental Assistant. While in the waiting room of her childhood dentist’s office, she heard a young boy screaming in fear. After the dental assistant calmed the boy and the dentist completed his treatment, Donna knew that she could make a difference by helping people overcome their fears to improve their health. At 16 years old, she began in a Health Work Program then went on to earn her Dental Assistant Certificate at Robert Morris College. Donna has 2 children 28 & 25 and is very excited for her first grandchild expected in February 2021!
Emili is a former collegiate athlete from Eastern Michigan University where she earned her degree in Communications and Chemistry and competed in gymnastics. She is now pursuing a dental degree and is eager to gain more experience before beginning dental school in the fall of 2021! She is super excited to work with the Oak Forest Family Dental team and to serve our amazing patients. Emili enjoys working out and watching movies with her family and friends. She is thrilled to be starting a new job as a dental assistant!

What Our Patients Say About Us
My first time with this dental office. I had an appointment with them before the COVID19 pandemic started. I had not have my teeth cleaned in in 2 1/2 years, due to no insurance. The office finally opened back up and I had an appointment set for September 1st. I NEEDED to get my teeth cleaned before then. I had even reached out to other dentist offices so that they could get me in sooner. My teeth REALLY needed a cleaning. I reached out and spoke to the Helen ( sweetest person) and explained that if they had any cancellations to please call me. They had a cancellation and the rest is history. They have a patient for LIFE. Everyone in the office is GREAT and PROFESSIONAL. I truly believe that things happen for a reason. They got me in early and my TEETH feel great! God Bless the Oak Forest Family Dental office.
Today was my first visit here and I was so pleased! Every single staff member is so sweet and friendly and kind. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. The place is very nice inside and clean. Great experience. Found my dentist!
Brian James Smith
I have been a long-time customer at Oak Forest Dental. I had moved twice since starting there, each home further from their office than the previous, but will not switch dental providers. The staff is organized, prepared and efficient. Their facilities have been beautifully updated. My treatments are completed skillfully and with care. I am comfortable there and confident that their competence will keep my mouth healthy through the years.
Wonderful staff and they do a great job of explaining what's happening with your teeth and what they're doing. Not a lover of the dentist, but they made me feel totally comfortable! :) definitely recommend.
The first attraction of Oak Forest Dental is is clean and also in view of Covid 19 all Safety Protoçol are in place at this location. The hygienist was thorough with me being a new patient.
